Bradley Strylowski

I am an undergraduate at George Mason University, planning on graduating in May of 2015 with a BS in Computational and Data Sciences and Physics. In the spring of 2013, I worked with Dr. Kirk Borne on distinguishing merging galaxies by automatic image-processing pipeline generated parameters, and will be continuing this research in the fall of 2014. Over the summer of 2013, I traveled to Louisiana State University as a participant of the Center for Computational Technology's Research Experience for Undergraduates Program. I joined Dr. Jesse Allison in building Pitch Canvas, a non-skeuomorphic instrument interface for touchscreens. After applying for and winning a competitive research grant from George Mason's Office of Student Scholarship, Creatives Activities, and Research, I have continued developing the interface with the help of Dr. Jesse Guessford. This summer, I am working with a research team led by Dr. Yijuan Lu and Dr. Bo Li exploring 3D sketch-based model retrieval using the Microsoft Kinect.
